Statement

 Matthew Allan Carr is an industrial designer with an accompanying extensive graphic design education. In 2023 he received his Industrial Design B.S. with a concentration in furniture from Appalachian State University. He owns Carr House L.L.C., a furniture design and production company. He is on the board of the International Society of Furniture Designers, a past student board member of the Bienenstock Furniture Library, and a three-time finalist in the Innovation + Design competition with one win in the student occasional storage category.
