Inspired by the Streamline Art Deco and English Club furniture periods, this functional vice-holding cabinet boasts monumental figures and classic materials meticulously crafted to create rounded shapes with strong vertical and horizontal lines.
Designed with attention to detail, the Vice Box features a top at standard bar height, a bottle stage for easy access to your favorite spirits, glass storage for elegant display, and cedar tobacco drawers for added convenience. Its thoughtful design and distinct historic influence earned it the prestigious title of “Best of Category Winner” for student occasional storage in the Fall 2022 ISFD Innovation+Design Competition.
The original prototype was produced in alder with the base finished with graphite in thinned shellac, the top cabinet piece wrapped inside and out in fine leather, and the small inner drawers constructed of Spanish cedar and left unfinished.
More than just a cabinet, the Vice Box is a specialty piece of artistic and innovative design that adds a touch of ceremony to any space. Elevate your storage game with the Vice Box and experience the perfect fusion of functionality and timeless aesthetics.

PUSH uses quality materials coupled with attention to detail and craftsmanship to broadly represent the design elements of point, line, and plane.
Clear planes, light diffusing rods, and poured bubbles were all observed in research into these elements and carried into the material choices for PUSH, filling the opportunity to be conceptual in its focus on these elements while still being a useful table lamp.
PUSH had the honor of being selected as the “Best of Category Winner” for student lighting in the Fall 2022 ISFD Innovation+Design Competition.
